In the <a href="http://pace.bgsu.edu/container.php?x=onlineteaching" rel="nofollow">Online Teaching for Educators course</a> I took with <a href="http://terenceonline.blogspot.com/2007/11/blogs-in-plain-english.html" rel="nofollow">Terence Armentano</a>, I was introduced to the work of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mihaly_Csikszentmihalyi" rel="nofollow">Mihály Csíkszentmihályi</a>, on the concept of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_%28psychology%29" rel="nofollow">flow</a> in education. It strikes me that the balance between flow and obstacles, and the negotiation of the chaos so created, is at the heart of lifelong learning. Now - why <em>this</em> stream, and why <em>Slovenja</em>? If you've been there, you wouldn't need to ask ... why the header image?
